I had brain surgery when I was 6, so whenever I was at a sleepover or birthday party and was being wailed on a little too much by the other kids, I would casually mention my surgery to the kid’s mom, and she’d be like “FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON’T TOUCH HIM.”
